Rebecca Bryson opened Curvy Chic bridal back in 2016. She realised that there was no specific catering to plus size brides. Yes, many dresses ran through to plus size but they simply weren’t designed to fit plus sized ladies. Many brides felt disillusioned when stores simply didn’t have dresses to fit their curves. This lead to poor body image and what should be an exciting time for a bride turning into a nightmare. I know when I got engaged I was dreading going dress shopping!
Her knowledge shines through in the new boutique which used to be a bank. Rebecca and her team have designed a stunning bridal viewing room using the old bank vault. Not to mention that the whole site is disabled friendly. This is apparent with extra large changing rooms and a specially designed disabled toilet. These small touches ensure that the whole party can be catered for.
Rebecca’s background comes from being a leading bridal makeup artist. Her years of experience in the bridal industry have given her the expertise to make Curvy Chic into a roaring success.
“I quickly learned that we needed to find curve specific dresses, not dresses just made bigger, which I believe is the unique offering of our collections. We’ve worked so hard to offer Northern Irelands largest selection of plus-sized gowns and the business has gone from strength to strength.”
Curvy Chic Bridal stocks Studio Levana, Michelle Bridal, Roz La Kelin and Pronovias White one. These are all exclusive in Northern Ireland. Curvy Chic Bridal also stock Venus Bridal, White Rose – Graceful, Lois Wild and Millie Grace.
There is also a huge selection of shoes and accessories instore as well.
So for any plus-sized beauties out there looking for their perfect wedding dress then look no further than Curvy Chic Bridal.
Until next time,
