One Minute Review: Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum

May 30, 2019

Oh. My. Gosh.

I have been wanting to try the Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum for ages now. I had seen all the reviews about how amazing it was and to be honest I was of the opinion that if something is too good to be true then it probably is!

The claim is that this little bottle of serum is a multitasking dream. It firms and hydrates the skin while minimising fine lines. It should be used after cleansing both morning and night and is perfect under makeup.

You can buy the serum in either 15ml (£21) or 30ml(£39) bottles. It comes beautifully packaged in a white tube with the bottle nestled securely in the bottom. The packaging is simple and the colour scheme is basic black and white. However I didn’t come for the fancy colours I came to see if this serum lives up to its hype.

The texture is non greasy. The serum is clear and there is not much smell from it. It is clear that a little goes a long way and I found that less than half a dropper was enough for my entire face. The serum is perfect for nourishing dry patches and helping skin recover from the effects caused by harsh weather.

It takes only a few moments for the serum to sink into my skin. My skin feels firmer and more supple immediately and I actually think even my fine lines have disappeared. There is no stickiness to the skin nor does it feel like my skin is being clogged up.

I can see why this brand has won multiple awards as its ethos is amazing. They look to create simple, uncomplicated skincare that uses natural ingredients which are then combined with active ingredients to their fullest potential thus creating skincare which suits all skintypes.

“I created Pestle & Mortar so that people who care about how their skin looks and feels can trust that what they are putting on their skin is pure, safe and highly effective.” Sonia Deasy CEO & Co-Founder Pestle & Mortar

I am so happy to know that Pestle & Mortar do not test their products on animals. Their entire range is also free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, silicones and synthetic fragrances.

I purchased my serum from QVCUK which was amazing value as I actually saved money on the 30ml (£35) and got the 15ml free as well. Even better was that I was able to buy it on their EasyPay option so I get to spread the cost interest free for the next few months! Winner!

Until next time,

Christine
